‘Amsterdam/New Amsterdam: The Worlds of Henry Hudson’ was an exhibit at the Museum of the City of New York that celebrated the arrival of Henry Hudson —four hundred+ years ago to the New World — as part of the NY400 Celebrations sponsored but the Consulate-General of the Netherlands in New York.

The exhibit recreated Hudson’s ship de Halve Maen (the Half Moon) since the gallery was basically the same size as the actual ship’s printout.

Pentagram Project Team: Michael Gericke, partner-in-charge and designer; Don Bilodeau, Seong Yang, Atzin Gaytan, designers; Gillian DeSousa, project manager.
